You will need a valid work contract and certificate of residence. If you are from outside the EU, your employer may have to first declare the position vacant with the national labour agency, ADEM. The nature of the role can impact how long that process takes, with shortage occupations receiving expedited processing. You may also need a visa depending on your country of origin. In all cases, be sure to register with the commune (municipality) within 8 days of arriving, which is a required procedure for all new residents.
